The distress was nice but the wood was to too orangey/tan looking underneath and it did not go wrote with my home decor. I decided to paint it white with my own hint of grey distress .

The picture on the left is how the barn door came looking and the one on the right is with one coat of paint that I did myself . So far I’m loving the idea to have painted it because it looks ten times better than before and the paint was very inexpensive . If you would like this simple barn door decor I say purchase it, and you can literally dress it up in whatever color you want with just a little paint .
