Also, he is a senior. I am so delighted with my purchase. Shadow knew right away how to get up and curl up on the top. Now when I look for him, I have to remember to check the cat condo. It is covered with a real soft fur fabric. Very neatly applied. It is sturdy and when he jumps up or down, it does not move. The price was amazing. Thank you Amazon for doing such a nice job for Shadow and myselfThe first night I put it together my cat slept on it. It does have a bit of an Oder when you n it but everything does. It is sturdy I have it attached to the litter box enclosure with 16 command strips so it doesn’t slide because my cats are crazy. They roll all around n the top part. I was surprised how big the top part was it fit 2 of my cats on it, mind you one is on the small side. Well she can make herself smaller. Either way it was very easy to assemble I didn’t even look at the instructions except to double check parts.

All of the pieces fitted perfectly way better then our last cat tree. They don’t really make cat trees with actual carpet anymore unless you pay over 70 for this same size cat tree. It’s perfect for what I wanted. My only complaint is I wish the bottom was just 2 or 3 inches longerI love how sturdy this cat tree is, and how large the upper platform is. My cat is around 13 lbs and there’s plenty of room for her. With her other cat trees, she only uses the top bed, but with this one she also uses the other platforms and actually plays with the pompoms hanging from them.The scratching posts on this tree are the first vertical posts she has ever scratched (she normally prefers scratching pads on the floor). It might be because the texture is different on these posts versus the other ones she’s had (it’s not as rough as some), or it could be that she accidentally discovered the posts while playing with the pompoms.
